Synopsis
All of us have a past that has molded and shaped us more than we care to admit. Moving forward is hard, harder if you lived through traumatic events. Lance is adjusting to his new normal. His wife, and young son were killed by a drunk driver and Lance had to make the final decision to end life support; to let his wife go. Sharon is just trying to make ends meet after surviving an abusive relationship. But while dancing at a night club, she is brutally raped, and almost killed. Sharon is alone and raising a child that is a product of this terrible evening. Neither Lance nor Sharon have been able to share the nightmares from their past with anyone. But the past is past right? The past is never past. It rears its ugly head when least expected. Lance and Sharon meet on a blind date and quickly hit it off. When a locket found in a burned out building leads to both of them being kidnapped, Lance and Sharon have to dig deep to survive. Through this ordeal they find strength and compassion in each other; but building trust is hard. Blind Date is about being human, letting go, seeking justice, and moving on.
