Notes
Clovette developed the gift of singing at an early age. She embraced it at the age of 3 when her father would sing and play skillfully on his guitar to her daily. Her mother, who also sings, began to guide her in areas of music and musical functions at various churches. She knows her purpose and states that her gift is from God, for the glory unto God and is Orchestrated for Kingdom business and principles. She was given many offers to sing secular but refused; and often think about the renowned Clark's sisters, who have not forgotten their roots of holiness. 1974-choir director/soloist/lead singer of "Move God" choir. 2000, The Lord saw fit to elevate her to another level of ministering by her birthing songs in the spirit, songwriter, choir director, lead singer of "The Glory of God Anointed" choir. 2002, February 10th she opened as a special guest for the Mighty Clouds of Joy, in Miami, Florida, Covenant Baptist Church. 2002, May 20th She was a part of the star studded lineup at the Bobby Jones Retreat in Las Vegas, Nevada at the MGM Grand Hotel, accompanied with Betty Wright and Revelation Seed, with many renowned stars on the platform. 2002, August 20th at the Second Wind Concert in Homestead, Florida, the 10 year anniversary of the disastrous Hurricane Andrew to commemorate the survivors; she gave such a stirring rendition of "When You've Been Blessed" originally sung by Patti Labelle, that people are still requesting her talents for their organizations and church activities. 2003, November 3rd ministered in song that moved dignitaries such as Barbara Carey-Shuler, the deceased Dr. Robert Ingram and Senator Larcenia Bullard at the momentous Gospel Truth Newspaper, Legacy Awards. 2004, January18th performed in the choir at the Gusman Center; "A Tale of Brotherhood", a salute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 2006, January11th selected to sing at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade press Conference held at the City of Miami Police Dept. 2006, January 18th she portrayed the Life of Rosa Parks by doing a monologue at WEDR radio station, and portrayed Rosa Parks in MLK Parade. 2006, January 19th was chosen as special performance singer at the University of Miami Commemorative Breakfast. 2006, February 26th the 29th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Spirit of Excellence Gala Awards & Scholarship, she ministered a special tribute son at "Keepers of the Dream Series", directed by Corky Dozier. 2006, March 5th the Miami Herald wrote an article concerning her ministry and the statement she made when she was questioned about educating our youth of today. 2007, January 15th Senator Fredricka Wilson requested her presence at her "5000 Role Models of Excellence Foundation held at Parrot Jungle to sing to thousands. 2007, September 30th graced the stage in worship, at Dr. Cindy Trimm World Summit 2008-present- working on her CD debut (single) "Into Your Presence".
