Sweetwater and their staff are always tops! I have read different opinions on the stand. It's made as a sort of accomodation to different instrument body thicknesses, rather than for slender electrics that have symmmetrical bodies. Try a K&M or a vintage Kaman Ultra stand, two of the best for those. I have a Gretsch G5123B hollowbody - didn't work in those. This DOES work!

Best thing I've done to preserve any of my old amps for sentiment or for professional use is to install great speakers. For a 6" speaker (X2) win this little amp, it really does sound worlds better.
