This was an expensive head joint for a flute, $6,000, which was listed as new. When I received the item it was not in any kind of case, let alone, the original packaging, which is what you would expect from a new item. I have bought many instruments in my life and have never gotten an instrument without a case. Also, there were finger prints all over it and a couple of very light scratches.

The listing showed detailed photos of the headjoint and the description clearly stated that the headjoint "comes as shown, nothing else included". It could be clearly seen that the headjoint is new based on the tenon condition. When the buyer complained for the item that he got as described, we offered, as a courtesy, to send him a headjoint case or to issue a refund. He chose to keep the headjoint, stopped responding to our messages, and left a negative feedback instead of resolving the issue.
