The disco seasoned well, and made fantastic steaks, salmon, and grilled vegetables. I got the largest one for my 250,00 btu burner. The entire surface is usable for cooking and heating.

Seeing other reviews I knew the handles aren't the best quality.. some people complained of the weld coming off so I was prepared for that. In my situation, the discada pan stays in my kamado grill until cooking is done and the pan cools off, so I don't need the handles all that much but other people might want to be aware.
