Works on an M52 single vanos. The water pump pulley is about .25" smaller in diameter (just under 1" less on circumference). This means the belt is about .625 longer than intended in reference to belt/pulley surface contact area, but the tensioner compensates for that and rests a little bit higher than intended without interfering with performance or other parts. This will make the water pump spin a little faster, I thought the risk is worth the reward. Car runs fine or better than before.
