I am happy about this battery. That being said, this battery is higher capacity and thus around 1 mm thicker than the original battery in my Sony NW-A45.
To get this to fit in my device, I had to peel away the thin square plastic spacer (about .5 mm) that was glued to the internal circuit board.
When assembled, the back of the music players bulges slightly, but this bulge gets covered anyway by my aftermarket plastic case. My device ran for over 4 hours, on its first test, so I am satisfied.
