Real amber: • Melts slowly. • Emits a resinous, pine-like smell. • May produce a bit of smoke but does not ignite immediately. Plastic imitation: • Melts quickly. • May catch fire. • Has a strong, chemical smell — like burning plastic.

At the moment you just red information in internet and try to understand it is amber or not burning your jewelry, it is sad.
