I checked and the edge of the lenses are already blackened showing that they are trying to deliver the best image. The focuser mechinism works well and is pretty well thought out. You have a gross focus with a fine focus rotating collar. Both have clear scales so you can always return to a known point. The black anodizing is perfect. I am impressed for what I got and what I paid for it. Excellent buy. Thanks
