Pit to pit it measures 47 and 1/4 inches, that is smaller than a European cut. I feel that this stuff needs to be disclosed upfront. Then the buyer does not accept returns. I understand that for certain items such as underwear, socks, undergarment etc..., but a shirt that as soon as I took it out the package, I knew that it wouldn't fit, thus the measurement. Sellers do better!!!
