The style where there is a velcro strap at either end that secure the unit to the knee area. This one does not have that thus in my view it is an inferior knee brace ! I will use it but I know it will not stay in place ALL day long at work like my old style ones do. This is the major problem of buying 'sight unseen' and next time I will just go to CVS or Rite Aid in person to hopefully get the correct one !
