- 1***g (125)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseThis is the story, I did ring up to explain, what i need, he told me that this pump would fit. but it did not......, Then i made a new mounting plate, new copper pipe etc ,filled up with oil, and started it..The pump, motor .stop, found that i DID NOT PUT ENOUGH OIL IN IT, and my motor is only 2.5 h/p, so it trips out on the motor. Then i striped the pump down, repaired the pump, and started it.It runs O/k, but the pump is to big for my motor as sometimes it trips out.Reply from: conon_motor- Feedback replied by seller conon_motor.- Feedback replied by seller conon_motor.Hi Roger, I am sure I have explained your situation by using a 2.5HP motor and the air compressor pump is hardly to find exact to suit a 2.5HP. either 2HP and 3HP. I have also mention that if your motor running hard, try to use a slightly smaller pulley which will helps a lot. I can simply to sell you a 2HP pump which I will make the same profit but you will get less FAD. I am now find myself trouble I think. If you keep having trips problem, please use a smaller pulley.
