I drilled 33 holes through 1/2 " steel plate using one Drill Hog 7/16" drill bit. See my review on the 7/16" drill bit. These were the best drill bits I have ever bought or used. I mentioned these to my friend because he could never get good drill bits. The 7/16" are incredible on how sharp and how long they last. I believe these will be the same. I RECOMMEND these over any others.
