Product Information
Daytona USA features stock car racing with generic opponents. Race against 40 cars in Arcade or Saturn modes. Arcade mode features a time limit that each lap must be completed by. Saturn mode has no time limit and allows players to select one of four cars to race with. All of the cars can be set on either automatic or manual transmissions. Both modes of play contain the same three tracks, each of which can be run in reverse. Each race begins with a rolling start as you enter at the back of the pack and must work your way up to first place. While racing you can view a number of items: current lap, total laps in the race, lap record, timer, tachometer, current speed, current gear, race position, traffic condition, and course layout.
