      Replaced a leaky alkaline batt in the base unit. No batts in the cordless handsets, so used my own re-built from Harbor Freight AAA NiMH cells Now all works well! VERY HAPPY to get three cordless handsets with the base unit. As loose/orphaned cordless handsets are very difficult to de-register from their former base & re-register with a different base unit. Packing could have been better. See photos The box was falling apart yet survived the cross-country trip with FedEx SmartPost & USPS!!
