Product Information
The body for the SLR Yashica FX-D has control options on the front, top, and rear. Located on the top of the Yashica 35 mm camera are the exposure counter, shutter dial speed, rewind crank, and other control and indicators. The exposure counter is a number dial that returns a numerical value that is indicative of how many pictures have been taken. The SLR camera body shutter dial is an adjustment control that changes the variable shutter speed that is utilized by the camera. This speed can be adjusted from 1/1,000 of a second up to 1 second. The rewind cranks on the Yashica FX-D allows the user to rewind the installed film. Front mounted controls and indicators on the Yashica 35 mm camera include the focus rings, lens release button, and self-timer LED. The self-timer LED on the SLR camera body is an indicator for the countdown for the self-timer, which is a feature that uses a preset set delay before taking a given photo. The lens release button is a quick release that allows the lens to be removed for storage or change to a secondary lens. The focus rings on the Yashica 35 mm camera are lens mounted adjusters that focus the image for a clearer shot.
