I was surprised how long the gown was for a petite person. The top of the dress fits well, and I like the dress, but the cost of getting it hemmed might be cost-prohibitive for me. It is at least 3 inches too long, and I don't wear heels. I will let you know if it's feasable to pay for alterations. I am 5'2'' by the way and generally petite fits well.
