- 3***9 (64)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThe i7-9700 processor is still a decent choice for lower end workstation utilities (photo editing & simple to moderate video editing, VMs). While I haven't been able to test my particular unit due to shipping delays with it's motherboard, I regularly use related generations (6/7th & 10th gens) without issue. The processor I purchased in particular does have a defect that limits it to one channel of RAM but that still, in theory, allows up to 64GB depending on the MoBo.
