      Quick-Set Husk IV Tripod....MADE FROM OLD BATTLESHIPS!!..Simply splendid example of a SKOKIE TRIPOD, made in Illinois after the end of WW2. Standing at 6ft 5" tall,and made to hold the Speed Graphics and 5"x4" plate cameras still in common use in the USA till the mid 1950s. This was not even the biggest or strongest of its type...I've got the 7ft one, and the stronger SAMSONs & others of Military Spec carried large TV cameras, Astro telescopes and Nike Hercules Missile Guidance Sights!
