For a reel to reel tape of its size, material, and length, it was a good value. However, like all Ampex tapes of its era, it suffers from SSS (Sticky Shed Syndrome) and cannot be used without baking it. It was listed as untested however, so I cannot complain about that. The metal reel it came on was in immaculate condition with very little warping.
