    Used on a Jet City 20 head, this did just what it said. It tamed the pre amp fizz and and lets me crank up the power amp crunch and sustain at any volume. Like any passive resistance attenuator it noticeably cuts the high frequencies. in my case this worked out great as it is a very bright (ice pick) amp. To my surprise the noise and hiss is much lower and the tone knobs have a more usefull range so I'm completely happy with it. Z String Music shipped it quick and it arrived in new condition.

    Hard pressed to recall an item’s packaging as nice as this was. The unit itself is equally beautiful, if there is such a thing amongst attenuators. And though I have yet to plug into it I can’t imagine taking the time to manufacture and package something so well would result in an unsatisfactory audio quality experience. Kudos for going the extra mile. Quickly becoming a fan!
