The wiring harness was torn, exposing the wires. The manual turning knob was so stiff, the small motor would not have been able to function. The orientation of the connecting rod was 180 degrees off between the interior part and exterior touch pad, not allowing the unit to be mounted. It looks like this purchase was cobbled together with parts from different sources, and non-usable.
