Overall I am pleased with these, and will likely purchase these same ones again. 1 inch may be small for some people, but anything over 1.5 inches is too big to fit comfortably in the mouth for extended periods of sucking time, and can actually be rather fatigue-inducing, so these work out quite well on long drives.
