For a 1080p capture card, there are likely other products that you can get for much cheaper than this product, and they likely have a known-name brand. They advertise Linux capabilities but it will require above average ability to troubleshoot and build the drivers for certain distributions. While thankfully they did refund me, the product was not as described.
