    Socks arrived promptly. The quality is excellent for the price! Super soft, warm and comfy, NOT ITCHY at all, which i appreciate! I also like the neutral colors. Wool is the natural, sustainable and cruelty free, naturally wicking material that allows excess heat to escape, so you just have the right amount of warmth on your skin, without sweaty feet. This is impossible with polyester garments, which have a "crock pot liner" effect: they make one feel like we' "cooking in our own juice" feel.

    The knit is a little like cable knit, can see foot if stretched. Softer than cotton, not like wool. Some elastic type thread at top of sock at band. I dried some in dryer before wear to tighten knit. See internet for care of alpaca socks. See internet for alpaca wash care. I washed and dried with oxyclean, came out fine. They don't shrink like wool.
