You can relive the legends of Thundercracker’s many battles as Starscream’s lightning fast wing man with the figure’s weapon accessories, easy transformation from robot warrior to jet fighter, and numerous interactive details. The Hasbro Transformers: Generations Thundercracker toy can be an equally good choice for the shelves of avid collectors and the play sets of imaginative young boys and girls. Thundercracker appears in the original Transformers: Generation One series as one of the evil Megatron’s Seekers—a category of robots in disguise that take the form of jet engine war planes while in vehicle mode. Thundercracker is often seen flying through the clouds alongside fellow Seekers Skywarp and Starscream, carrying out Megatron’s orders in his campaign to conquer Earth and reclaim the Transformer home planet Cybertron. Thundercracker relished the opportunity to rain destruction down on Optimus Prime and toy with his fellow land-based Autobots, believing those who did not choose airborne vehicle modes were foolish and weak. However, he also felt an uncharacteristic amount of pity for the tiny humans of Earth, not wishing to harm them in the crossfire of the Transformers’ great war. This show of compassion frequently put him at odds with his villainous masters, making him subject to ridicule from Skywarp or threats of punishment from Starscream. Still, when humans were on the battlefield, Thundercracker’s robot heart was not in the fight. This sympathetic streak would also, at times, bring him to forge temporary alliances with the forces of good—even joining fellow Combiner bots from both sides of the war to form the massive and powerful Transformer Sky Reign to defend Earth and Cybertron from greater threats. Hasbro brings this unique, complicated Decepticon Combiner to life with this masterfully designed Transformers: Generations toy action figure. In robot mode, he stands at an impressive 12 inches tall and can perfectly capture his classic look from the television series to the smallest detail. Like his predecessor Starscream, multiple points of articulation allow Thundercracker to strike a dramatic combat pose and take aim with his two removable, arm-mounted toy blaster cannons. When this Transformer is converted to his classic F-15 Eagle form, his bold, deep blue paint job can make Thundercracker stand out next to fellow Seeker class Transformers Starscream and Skywarp toy figures. The neutrona wands were carefully taped together into one solid container and the pack is in its own original shipping box. The items are as described: new/factory sealed. I'm only opening the 1984 wand (already have a Spengler) and the box contains the original packing slip from the wholesaler to the seller. As a final note, the seller is awesome. There was a SNAFU w/PayPal and they worked with me to get the purchase completed.
