The canvas seems heavy enough, but poor stitching (one row of stitching and they used the wrong stitch) from the factory indicates the bag will not handle the weight or abuse that the fabric can. Going to have to turn the bag inside out and restitch it. If you don't put heavy tools like wrenches or pliars in it, you may be OK.
