It's ergonomic and I'm sure the charging works. However, the material wears down over time (mine immediately upon unpacking) into an unbearably sticky and gross rubber that you can scrape off with your fingernail. Probably not safe for young kids, and probably why the company stopped making these. Shipped a couple days late but the package was in good condition and packaged well.
