Just has the odd very tiny light surface ding which has to be expected but nothing major or anything really noticeable. Just normal wear which you would expect with an object of 127 years of age. The hinged lid works perfectly well and opens/closes just how it should with no issues. The push button release also works just as it should. The vesta case hinged lid opens and closes correctly with no problems. The interior of the case is in excellent condition for its age with only some light genuine antique wear which has to be expected with an object of this age. The hallmarks to the interior of the body are all clear and readable. The case is not engraved with any presentation inscriptions, initials, monograms or appears to of had anything erased. A lovely very rare example which would make a stunning addition to anyones collection.”
