Bring all the excitement of the Hasbro classic board game Battleship CD-ROM to your PC screen with vivid detail and full motion video cinemas. The game also supports multi-player action via hot seat, LAN or over the Internet.<br><br>As you play the game, you try to sink the other players' ships that have been strategically placed on their side of the playing grid. When you select a square on the grid to aim at, you see a full motion video cinema behind your game board of a real missile launch or torpedo speeding towards them. If you register a hit you will see an explosion. If it is a miss, there is no explosion and it's then your opponent's turn to try and locate one of your ships.<br><br>The game can be played in both classic mode and several new modes that expand the game. For instance, Classic mode allows each player one shot at the opponent's ships per turn. In the Salvo mode, the number of shots each player gets is based on the number of ships he/she controls. In Volley mode, both players simply shoot until they miss.
