Inspired by the earlier Raquel Welch hit ONE MILLION YEARS B.C., England's Hammer Studios created this campy cult fave. While on African safari, a hunter is captured by a hostile tribe who transport him to a prehistoric world where women rule, men are viewed as inferior, and a blonde tribe is oppressed by the more powerful tribe of raven-haired beauties. Brunette Queen Kari is played with great zest by Martine Beswick, veteran of THUNDERBALL and FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE.
