    I got this part to resolve a problem with my 1997 Malibu. I could not turn the ignition switch to the off position and remove the ignition key after putting it in park, unless I disconnected the battery. Then I could turn the key to the off position and remove the key. Installing the part I received from this seller fixed the problem and now I can turn my car off and remove the ignition key without disconnecting the battery. Thanks again.
