I pretty much used to crush the pills up to sesame seed size before putting them in and pray the screen would hold up one more time. The metal ones on the market are actually Aluminum and when using them, you are adding unwanted aluminum to your daily intake. The only set back is the small diameter. I've got to deduct a star for that and another for shipping. I'm pleased.
