Product Information
Pieces takes the traditional jigsaw puzzle and updates it with all of the bells and whistles typically associated with a video game, including special items, multiple difficulty levels, support for up to five players and three modes of play. You can compete against the computer or a friend, with the goal being to finish a puzzle (or set of puzzles) before your opponent. If you decide to challenge the computer, you will face eight increasingly challenging opponents in a race to complete three pictures. Random items will appear during the puzzle, which can help you complete your goal or hinder your opponent.<br><br>In total, there are eleven items which range from Search (gives away the location of three pieces at the top of the screen) to Sweeper, which will "sweep" away half of your opponent's fitted pieces. Jigsaw Mode allows up to five players to compete against one another for points. There are no special items in this mode, and the difficulty can be set to one of four levels. Depending on the difficulty, you may have a time limit, trick pieces or a miniature solution to follow. Puzzles can be selected from eight genres (such as "The World" or "Sports"), each with eight puzzles ranging from 36 to 60 pieces in size.
