Without a map or diagram showing which socket pin corresponds to which PCB-pin, this is unusable , Do they really expect the buyer to "buzz" every combination? I contacted the seller and only received a return question wondering what was the problem.

They're brand new, clean, look to be manufactured with quality, and came in an anti-static IC storage tube. It was then safely bubble wrapped, and sealed up in a thick shipping envelope. I tested 2 of them and they work great! 5 IC's at the price I paid was a good deal for me. Shipping is not cheap these days, so I understand why seller's ask for what they do, within reason of course! I'm happy with my purchase!
