    The Solen capacitors in this kit downgraded my beloved Jubal L65s (hooked with good Rega tt and amp). On some musical passages they yielded brilliant clarity. But they often mangled sounds in mid and hi ranges, making the overall performance worse than with the original caps. Giving up on hope for a burn-in improvement, I got a set of Jantzen Superior Z-Caps (≈ $200). Astounding. Unlike the Solens, they soon brought out spectacular capability in the Jubal drivers.
