Kevin Bowe is a Minneapolis based writer/producer/guitarist.... over the last several years he has earned 3 platinum records and written songs on 2 Grammy winning albums working with Paul Westerberg, Johnny Lang, Etta James, The Meat Puppets, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Leo Kottke, Three Dog Night and dozens of other artists. This is all fine and good but it also kept him too busy to put together an album of his own songs for over 10 years! But the wait is over and the new album 'Natchez Trace' is worth it, with contributions from Paul Westerberg, Freedy Johnston, Chuck Prophet, Tim O'Reagan (Jayhawks), Nels Kline (Wilco) and Scarlet Rivera (Dylan/Desire) this album rocks harder than Americana, goes deeper than singer/songwriter, and always retains it's uniquely Minneapolis roots. Peter Anderson (Polara/Honeydogs) on drums and Steve Price on bass make for a live trio that fires on all cylinders... this same core also backs up Alison Scott and Freedy Johnston.
