Based on Disney's 2002 cinematic sequel to the classic children's story, Peter Pan leads players on a platform adventure through Never Land levels of jumps, puzzles, and dangerous bad guys. Return to Never Land takes place during World War II and Wendy is now grown up with children of her own. Jane, her daughter, is disillusioned by the destruction and has little interest in her mother's silly stories of fairy dust and pirates. But, she and her brother Danny accompany Peter Pan to Never Land for a visit, only to see Tinker Bell kidnapped by the dreaded Captain Hook. Now it's up to Peter to save not only Tinker Bell, but Wendy's kids and the Lost Boys as well.<br><br>Unlike Disney's Tarzan: Return to the Jungle, players unlock scenes from the movie as they visit London, Never Land Forest, The Beach, Crocodile Creek, Mermaid Lagoon, the Lost Boys Hideout, and Hook's Pirate Ship. Players collect apples and hearts to restore Peter's health, Pixie Dust Pots to fuel his flight, and feathers (35) to gain extra lives. Hand-to-hand combat, knife throwing (returns to Peter when thrown), the Bum Bash (jumping on top of an enemy), and hurling objects like flowerpots form Peter's arsenal in dealing with Hook, his pirates, and the Tic Toc Crew.<br><br>Disney's Peter Pan: Return to Never Land contains two bonus games that can be unlocked if you find three hidden "Pan Pipes" in each location. The first, Flight, challenges you to stay aloft long enough to collect a preset number of Pixie Dust Pots while dodging parrots and cannonballs. The second, Cannonball Firing, requires shooting pirates stranded on the beach with cannonballs from Hook's ship. Winning the bonus games earns an extra life for Peter in the main game.
