As triodes mu is close Gm not so much and curve plots do not; as pentodes only tested Gm & Ip results between tubes closer.Reply from: summerlunch- Feedback replied by seller summerlunch.- Feedback replied by seller summerlunch.Thx for the in depth feedback! These are tested for low noise and mu to work well with commercial phono and mic preamps. Gm is typically within 10% tolerance in the same date/lot. No lengthy burn-in stabilization or curve matching was done, so these may not be ideal for a differential amp where it's important. As far as I’m aware no commercial equipment maker uses the D3A in that application, although maybe they should!
