    Surprisingly crude construction. The box is made from scraps, the hinges are rusted and, it's falling apart. The caliper itself began to come apart with the first use. Screws started loosening, and the jaw binds up when sliding. It's accurate to 0.001 outside as stated but 0.005 inside. This is due to the sliding jaw rocking on the beam. It moves pretty rough too. The adjustment clamp block is really sloppy. Don't waste your money, buy a regular "point style" caliper.
