The books were not what I would call like new but were in the shape the pictures had shown them in, so I am satisfied with that. There was an unfortunate issue with the shipping box itself, but the seller was apologetic and even was willing to make an exception to the no return policy due to it. I would not describe the item as "very good" as there are obvious damage to the cover as seen in the upper right corner of the front cover. Quality of item was good just as depicted. Good value for the buck. Appearance of the item was good but not excellent.
