Players must guide a close-knit squad of paratroopers through historically accurate terrain by using real-life military tactics, from seeking cover to providing suppression fire to outflanking the enemy. D-Day's most celebrated battles are brought to life thanks to an extensive amount of research, including the use of official photos, eyewitness accounts, maps, reports, and more. Players will use simple hand gestures with the Wii Remote to issue squad commands, fire guns, throw grenades, and more, all while carefully advancing behind enemy lines.
