It was well package as each boot was individually wrapped in plastic, but I was surprised that they were in a tiny plastic bag and they could have been damaged in transit rather than if they were in a box. The only problem is though they are marked size 9, they are smaller than all of my size 8 boots that I have. I needed a larger size.
