The Wii U game features several modes, including Story Mode, Mission Mode, and the multiplayer Bingo Battle. It also has many control options available. You can choose to use the touchscreen controller by itself and issue simple commands, much like with tablets. You can also use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to play, with the Wii U Gamepad acting as a map. No additional accessories are needed to get started, so you can prepare for all the fun in store. Pikmin come in all shapes, sizes, and colors, and cooperating with them is key to survival on planet PNF-404. Red ones resist fire, yellow ones resist electricity, and blue ones can swim. White ones are poisonous, winged ones can fly, and purple ones are incredibly strong. Some are also made of stone, making them impervious to many forms of damage. No matter how strong they are, they must all return home at sunset. If they don't, the creatures of the night will awaken and take out the captains and their loyal legions. Coordinating every order between all three of your captains is the key to success and survival. Like most of Nintendo's video games, it's fun and simple but requires a bit of strategy to beat. That makes it a challenging Wii U game that you will want to keep playing over and over again. As far as content, the original version is identical to its Nintendo Selects version, including available DLC. The colorful packaging includes three mischievous characters surrounded by plants and leaves. Pikmin 3 is available in both PAL and NTSC versions and is exclusive to the Wii U. Nintendo designs its games and consoles with simplicity in mind, so anyone can pick them up and start playing right away. No previous experience is necessary in order to learn to play, making it excellent for players ages 10 to 100. This Wii U game from Nintendo allows for one save file per profile, meaning you can easily share with family members. Just have them log into their profile before they begin playing by themselves. Alternatively, two players can work together to save the world or compete against each other to find out who's the best. For accessories, you will only need an additional Nintendo Wii remote and nunchuk for another person to join in the fun. This Wii U video game is great for parents who are concerned about violence in games, as this one is child friendly with no violence or other scenes that could disturb your child.
