The Race has returned with a distinctly new and vibrant record. Inspired by a recent obsession with all things Russia, singer/guitarist Craig Klein captured the stark, frozen wasteland that is Siberia. Through his job at the Chicago Public Library as an Exhibit Preparator in the Special Collections Division, he checked our every book and movie he could find using the search criteria "Russia - Siberia - History - Travel". Klein's work and research ultimately became the completely entangled with the new songs he was writing; the end result was the story of ICE STATION. ICE STATION is a journey into the unknown, It's goal is to take the listener on an imaginary journey, traveling from "Odes sa to China and back again".
