Rev your engines into full gear with "Cars" for the Xbox 360 platform. Developed by Rainbow Studios, "Cars" is an exciting addition to the Xbox 360 lineup. This title is based on the hit Disney and Pixar movie, featuring several characters from the film such as Lightning McQueen, Mater, Sally Carrera, and The King. Each of these characters is playable. Actors from the franchise, including Larry the Cable Guy and Owen Wilson, lend voice work to the game to re-create the magic of the film as closely as possible. Besides the Xbox 360, the game was also released for the Xbox, PS2, and the Nintendo 3Ds among few. The gameplay focuses on racing and re-creating moments from the actual film. Story Mode retains the bulk of the play with an interactive virtual town of Radiator Springs, as seen in the movie, serving as the free-roaming hub of activity. From this main hub, you can interact with many of the beloved characters, accept races or challenges to progress the story, or just roam freely. The ultimate goal of this area is competing in numerous Piston Cup races. As the main story advances, players may unlock special boost abilities, discover access to new racetrack environments, and test their skills in a series of mini-games. Every course that is concluded in the main story will also become available as either a mini-game or arcade race, which can be replayed at any time with any of the game's unlockable racers. Every story mode event rewards the player with bonus points, which can be used to unlock racers in the game and customize them with numerous epic paint jobs at Ramon's shop. With over 200 specific trophies to acquire as well as stunning concept art and clips from the movie, gamers will be sure to experience hours of exciting fun. One exceptionally ingenious thing that "Cars" does is divide itself into two levels of games. One is constructed for players of all ages, and the second is a reduced, less challenging version for younger children. This makes it a game that is able to grow with your child in complexity. Whatever your tastes, the attractive component of this Xbox 360 title is that the game can be enjoyed by players of all skill levels.
