Notes
At the age of 21, Navy enlistee Ray Anthony was handed the baton to his own band for the Pacific Theater, and these tracks are taken from a 1945 performance at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Honolulu, as well as Ray's postwar 1946 band (with vocals from his first wife Dee Keating) and his 1949 outfit. A rare, early glimpse at a big band icon! Includes Pastorale (Golden Horn); Skip to My Lou; Smoke Rings; Let's Dance; the Man on the Beat; Blue Jeans; Dixie Doodle, and more. 21 tracks!
