    He bought an empty vintage 50–70 year old movement for £150, which had been serviced and used for 6 months until the sale, as advertised. He was happy with the deal but was completely unprofessional, providing no answers with technical data, amplitude, or any other proof of bad service. Since he was buying empty parts for his project, he should know as a watchmaker that a removed movement should be calibrated, inspected, and adjusted during installation for accuracy if needed.
