The quality simply can't be beat. Because Minidiscs are digital, when new, one disc will sound indistinguishable from another. But after years go by, the Sony discs will always play and record, unlike some others. The jewel tones are vibrant and are the icing on the proverbial cake. Beautiful. Thanks. A+
