- 0***d (99)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThis is the very 1st Pre-Holiday schedule issued by Metro-North & never saw one for sale on ebay in the 42 years this railroad has existed. It could be considered very rare along with the Plum foreground & White backround Penn Cental & Conrail (The Conrail Symbol was never used) Commuter Services used a Red & Green Foreground & a White background. In excellent condition for its age & packaged well. I also am A Metro-North Fan.
- 0***d (99)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseI loaned this item to a Local Historical Railroad Club for display at a recent get together and the President was interested in this artifact. Too bad Penn Central wasn't displayed on the other side because there was hardly any room left. I don't recall seeing this sign ever displayed on commuter trains (probably long distance prior to Amtrak) during that era in what is now Metro-North territory. In excellent condition for its age & packed well. I am a member of PC Historical Society.
